it has always known it was different.

Clever kid, bullied at school, always alert to new ideas and possibilities.

When it came down to it being controlled and ordered about, however, things felt much better, giving it direction and purpose.

it can go off at tangents and constantly look for new things to do. it never wants to stop. it always feels like there is something else to do.

Sometimes this makes it feel depressed and low that it can't do all that it wants to.

Being a gimp, being controlled doesn't stop it from advancing its knowledge or doing things. It is just done in a controlled manner with strong guidance and leadership from its Owner.

it used to be an individual. Now it is an extension of its Owner. it is a tool to be used.

Tools are useful if they can do many things. A dumb tool is like a blunt knife so why would anyone want one?

it spends a lot of its time working hard to make its Owner's life more comfortable. Cooking, cleaning, doing DIY, shopping. Being knowledgeable of its Owner's needs and preferences, it tries to predict what He wants and when. In that way, it is making sure He is happy.

Having knowledge and understanding about the world also helps its Owner enjoy His life too; discovering new places to visit, places to eat at and places to relax at: places to help him be the Man He is.

it is locked and collared to keep that eagerness flowing. To ensure it is always wanting to better itself for its Owner.

But it is also it is locked and collared to make it feel loved and cared for because its Owner cares for His property. in the image it was handcuffed to the radiator and gagged, left for a while to rest and contemplate its life.
